4th Technical Meeting - online

On May 18, 2021 the 4^th technical meeting of the SAVEMEDCOASTS-2 project, was held in remote mode. Two additional specific round tables have been organized in May 20 and 21, 2021.

During the plenary meeting, each Work Package (WP) Leader summarized and updated the Consortium about the progress made on the reference Task.

The 1st round table on “State-of-the art on the maps, flooding and storm surge scenarios and WebGIS integration” was held on May 20, 2021.

The 2nd round table on “Planning the WP7 workshop and KnowFloodRisk (KFR) campaigns (WP9) in each of the test studies” was held on May 21, 2021.

During the plenary session and the two round tables, the main gaps, issues, and needs have been identified and addressed in the next implementation period. The resulting key issues have been then discussed at the end of the presentations from the individual partners. The scientific and management issues were widely shown and discussed with the contribution of all partners.

The meeting also focused on the overcoming the Contingency Plan applied to mitigate the effects and impacts of the limitations due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Europe by restarting the activities as per last amendment approved (WP1).
